About The CDAC
Turning Need into Action
Founded in 2022 by Angie Chait, The Chait Domestic Abuse Center was established to respond to the widespread epidemic of #DomesticAbuse and #IntimatePartnerViolence. One in three women will experience Intimate Partner Violence in their lifetime, and one in ten men. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2021, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: support, resources, and healing.
Dealing with the challenge of Domestic Violence requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives, have shared experience, and are willing to take risks. The CDAC emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.
